Mid-west I.M.P.A.C.T. Org.

Inner city Mentoring Program and Accelerated Co-active Training is a not-for-profit organization that partners volunteer professionals with young men and women ages 17 and under. The Combination of Career Mentoring, Life Skills Training, Personal Coaching, and Creative Expression through the arts, empowers each individual to live a unique and fulfilling life by design.

Life Skills Training is an intensive eight week program that begins with extensive Goal setting. Combined with Anger management, Conflict resolution, Time management, Value clarification, Money management and Leadership skills, participants learn the skills necessary to exercise their personal power. I.M.P.A.C.T. takes the guesswork out of success.

Mentors are carefully selected career professionals who have demonstrated character and integrity in their professions and their communities. These professionals volunteer their time, energy and expertise to teach urban city youths the ethics, values and skills necessary to succeed in the professional arena.

Co-Active Training becomes a collaborative work between the participant and the coach. The coach is vital in reinforcing the Life Skills training. The Co-active relationship is encouraging, supporting and focuses on helping the participant maintain momentum as they pursue their established goals.

Creative I.M.P.A.C.T. focuses on the Theatrical and Performing Arts where individuals are able to explore their talents and interests. The creative workshops provide a safe environment for free expressions that will enhance the ability to creatively solve problems and overcome obstacles.

K.C.K. is a community intervention initiative that uses an Original and Traditional Martial Art system designed to arm youth with self-empowerment, leadership and integrity. Our vision is that every child participating in K.C.K. becomes a powerful presence in his or her community in such a manner as to make a positive and profound impact.
